So the season is well underway. The Espace Killy has been open for a week, though the descent into Val d’Isere is restricted to La Daille or Santons, the skiing in and around Tignes has been exceptional.
Snowfall over the past week has been considerable, enough for skiers in Tignes to find some good off-piste, especially on the Grand Motte and from Toviere.
Tonight the sky is once again full of heavy clouds and falling snowflakes, and with more forecast for the start of next week, this bodes well for early season skiers in Tignes. I start my first full week of work on Monday, and by some good fortune I’m running an all-terrain course. Bring your snorkels guys!
