Two weeks into French holidays and the lift infrastructure of Tignes seems to be dealing well with the busiest weeks of the season. Queuing hot-spots Tomeusses and Grattalu (the new access lift to the snow-park) haven’t caused a delay of more than 5 mins, and the new Bollin-Fresse system of loading Fresse traffic at the mid-station has alleviated the usual congestion at the bottom.
Recent snowfall has been accompanied by cold winds, but thankfully though the sun broke through today, a welcome change from the bad visibility of the last couple of days.
With two weeks of Parisian holidays on the way, I’m eagerly anticipating my week’s holiday to be taken on the 7th of march, the week of the European X Games in Tignes. It should be a belter, and I’ll be tweeting updates… follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/roriescott
